Heliconian Hall, located in Toronto’s vibrant Yorkville neighbourhood, is an intimate space that is capable of hosting a wide variety of events. The Hall’s vaulted ceilings provide impressive natural acoustics in an intimate setting, making it a popular location for music concerts and recordings, theatrical performances, in addition to dance presentations, creative workshops, book launches and literary readings.
While priority is given to arts-based rentals, the facility can also be rented for corporate meetings and other types of gatherings such as piano recitals, weddings, birthdays and special anniversaries. In wintertime a cozy fire can be lit in the Hall, and in the warm weather, the venue has central air conditioning. With a maximum capacity of approximately 100 people, Heliconian Hall is a unique venue with a long history of supporting local talent and presenting an eclectic array of events.
Although there is no on-site parking available, the Hall is close to public transit (Bay and St. George subway stations are within a few blocks’ walking distance) and there are two large, indoor paid parking facilities nearby.
