Concert / performance / literary Event Rentals
CONCERT / PERFORMANCE / LITERARY EVENT RENTALS
Due to a special, long-standing relationship with Toronto’s arts community, all arts-based rentals receive a discounted rental rate. The Heliconian Club, which has been based out of Heliconian Hall for over 100 years, is committed to providing reasonably priced space for the performing arts, both for performance and rehearsal purposes.
The arts-based booking rate ranges from $341.25 plus HST to $630.00 plus HST. Rates vary by day of the week, month, and time of day. Rental staff always attempts to keep the cost down for clients by suggesting varied times so it is beneficial for potential renters to be flexible. Because of this arrangement, there are no additional discounts available for students or charitable organizations. Special exceptions are made for serial bookings of four or more events (for example, a concert series) and successful applicants to our Rental Sponsorship Outreach Program (click here for details). All artistic bookings are subject to a $10 Capital Improvement Fee per event that the Club places in a reserve fund for repairs that benefit Hall users, audiences and renters.
