CHANGES IN OUR POLICIES DUE TO COVID-19 and current operating restrictions
CLUB RUN EVENTS
All restrictions are currently lifted. There are no masking, capacity or proof of vaccination requirements.
RENTAL EVENTS
If you are attending an event not put on by the Toronto Heliconian Club, it is being organized by another group and they are responsible for setting their own policies, communicating them, and enforcing them. We do not keep these details in the Club office. Please contact the event organizer if you have questions.
RENTERS
We allow renters to set their own COVID rules for their events within the Provincial framework and beyond the Provincial requirements if desired. Renters can keep capacity limits, require their attendees to provide proof of vaccine, serve food and drinks, etc., but they MUST communicate these things to their attendees, and enforce their rules themselves. So if proof of vaccine is being checked, attendees should be informed BEFORE the event, and the renter has to find staff or a volunteer to check the vaccine proof. Likewise is food and drink is served, attendees should be aware in advance.
These rules are still subject to change, both by new Provincial guidelines and by a change in our internal policy.
Please feel free to contact [email protected] if you have questions or a bookings inquiry.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during this difficult time.
