A DISTINGUISHED PIANIST
---A relatively new member of the Music Section, Christina Quilico, will be Member of the Day at the first luncheon this year.
--- A noted concert pianist with a special interest in contemporary music, Christina has already performed several times at Club events.
---At a recent public concert, Christina played the composition On Pond Life by former Heliconian Ann Southam. Of that performance, the Toronto Star remarked that the work “glowed and swirled with magic at Quilico’s fleet, patient hands”.
---Having heard Christina play, Heliconians and their guests will hear her talk about her life and work at the MOTD luncheon.
--- Reservations are required by noon Thursday, February 25.
