OFF THE SHELF, ON THE STAGE
---Nancy Butler has been chief librarian at the
Shaw Festival since 1982. She’s coming out
of the stacks and to the Heliconian Club for the
first Club Night of 2010.
--- In what promises to be a stimulating evening,
Ms Butler in her talk will take Heliconians and
their guests from the library to the stage and back
again, drawing not just on her experience at the
Shaw Festival but on her work as a painter and operator
of the Pump House, Niagara on the Lake’s version
of an art institute.
---Guests are welcome and reservations are required
by noon on Thursday, February 11. |
