Centennial Scholarship - Awards Ceremony

---As part of its Centennial celebrations and outreach to the academic community , the Club is offering $1,000 scholarships to five women (one for each of the Club's sections) in five post-seconday education institutions. They will present a sample of their work and join the Club members in a special dinner and awards ceremony.

CENTENNIAL SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

The art scholarship goes to Kerri Palangio, a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design. The drama scholarship goes to Erica Vella, a graduate of Ryerson University Theatre School. Winner of the literature scholarship is Deborah Ann Tunny, a fiction writer from the Humber College department of creative writing. The Humanities Section will present a scholarship to flamenco dance specialist Nancy Cardwell. Winner of the music scholarship is trombonist Annemieke Vanderdraay, a graduate of the University of Toronto who will do post graduate work at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University.
