Business
Meeting
---The first
Business Meeting of the new season is on Tuesday,
October 20, 6 p.m. There are only three of these
meeting in the year and they offer members a chance
to examine the financial statements, quiz executive
committee members on expenditures and other matters,
and hear reports on Club events.
---These meetings are important. Attendance at
them confirms members’
interest and involvement in the club as an entity
beyond each individual’s specific participation.
While a quorum of 20 is all that’s needed
for business to be conducted, a larger attendance
is desirable so that every member has a voice
in the all the Club’s affairs.
---A light supper will be served, Members may
also come just for the meeting at about 7 p.m.
